Study Detail: Distal Radius Fracture Study
Principal Investigator: Jeffrey Husband, MD
The problem: Distal radius fractures involve a break in the larger of the two bones in the forearm, near the wrist.
Aim of the Study: Although several rehabilitation programs exist, it is not clear which method maximizes the average patient's ability to regain function in the most time-efficient manner.
Enrollment: Open
Who should participate?
- Males and females aged 18-85 years
- Patients in good general health
- Individuals with distal radius fracture in one wrist confirmed by x-ray
- Require the volar ORIF procedure for treatment
